Boston Jewish Film
A year-round film, culture, and community program with a new home at JCC Greater Boston.
Celebrating the Jewish Experience through Film and Media
Film has the power to foster empathy, spark conversation, and connect communities. Through its thoughtful programming, Boston Jewish Film expands cultural understanding and builds bridges across diverse perspectives, aligning with JCC Greater Boston’s mission to nurture connection, enrich lives, and strengthen community bonds.
Over the course of the year, BJF engages and inspires audiences to explore the full spectrum of Jewish life, values, history, and culture through the powerful medium of cinema. With a signature festival every March and other special programs, BJF invites audiences to explore universal themes alongside Jewish perspectives, deepening understanding of both Jewish experience and our shared humanity.
Boston Jewish Film Festival
Wednesday, November 4–Sunday, November 15
Every November, BJF brings the biggest celebration of Jewish film to Greater Boston. This year, the 38th Annual Boston Jewish Film Festival is the first since Boston Jewish Film joined JCC Greater Boston, and it returns November 4-15 with 11 films from 7 countries, screening across some of the area's most iconic theaters. It's eleven days of premieres, powerful stories, and conversations with the filmmakers behind them, now woven into BJF's year-round film, culture, and community programming as part of the JCC Greater Boston family.
