Ready to step into the spotlight with confidence, strength, and heart? This high‑energy class invites young performers to explore the magic of improv and ensemble dance while building a modern‑day triple threat: confident minds, strong bodies, and brave hearts.
Led by professional actor and Broadway vet Dave Heard, students will kick off each session with fun, low‑pressure improv games that spark creativity and boost self‑confidence.
Then the class shifts into dynamic ensemble dance, where kids learn to move with power, expression, and teamwork. Every activity is designed to help them trust their instincts, support one another, and shine boldly on stage.
At the end of the session, kids will showcase their skills in a mini performance, putting everything they've learned into action. Whether they're dreaming of Broadway stardom or just love to perform, this camp is the perfect stage for them to shine!
About Dave Heard:
Dave Heard, certified fitness instructor, professional actor, and dancer, is best known for his Broadway roles in Hairspray and his appearances in films like I Wanna Dance with Somebody and Ted II. A trained dancer with Alvin Ailey, Dave has performed across the U.S. and internationally, including during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. With his expert coaching, Dave helps kids unlock their unique talents and develop both their creative abilities and intelligence in the performing arts.
