Get your skills in shape with our Pre-Swim club! Kids ages 6-10 who love to swim and want to have fun can join our program devoted to developing strong values, building self-esteem, and enabling swimmers to meet their full potential. We’ll get your child on the right track to being a seriously confident and skilled swimmer!

Need a little something extra to bridge the gap between swim lessons and Karishim Swim Team? Join our Pre-Swim Club!
Designed especially for budding swimmers eager to join a swim team, our Pre-Swim Club is the perfect splash into the basics of competitive swimming without the actual competition. Focused on honing the proper techniques for all four strokes—butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle—we ensure every swimmer masters the essentials, from circle swimming to using a pace clock as well as understanding the basics of team etiquette.
About Pre-Swim Club
Pre-Swim Club is skill-based rather than age-based. This means participants must be able to complete a 50 (down and back lap) of both freestyle and backstroke. We tailor the program to be flexible, adapting to the pace of each swimmer's growth.
As soon as your little swimmer shows readiness for the swim team, we'll be the first to cheer them on to the next level! The focus of Pre-Swim is to build a solid foundation and a love for the sport. We save competitions for later stages.

Lauren Gale
Head Coach, Karishim Swim Club / Director, Swim Camp
Lauren is a graduate of Bridgewater State University, where she excelled in swimming, teaching the Swim for America program and serving as head lifeguard and captain of the swim team for three years. She also has experience in coaching swimming at the South Shore YMCA. In addition to her passion for swimming, Lauren holds a degree in nutrition & wellness, which has led her to focus on the connection between a healthy lifestyle and positive long-term outcomes for children.
