Magic, Circus, and Laughs for All Ages!

Get ready for a season of jaw-dropping, laugh-out-loud fun at JCC Greater Boston! Center Stage brings together amazing live performers, from mind-bending magicians to daring circus acts to comedians who'll have the whole family giggling.

Every show runs an hour or less, so it's easy to fit into your day and perfect for even the youngest audience members. No long waits, no restless kids, just nonstop entertainment from start to finish.

  • All shows take place in the Riemer-Goldstein Theater at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC
  • Tickets are $15 each; $12 for JCC members
  • Children under 2 years old do not require a ticket

The Yo-Yo Man

Monday, October 12 | 10:30am

John Higby, the Yo-Yo Guy, brings his high-energy comedy show packed with yo-yo tricks, unicycle stunts, and a giant yo-yo. John holds four Guinness World Records, has performed in 27 countries, and has appeared on David Letterman and PBS. Stick around after the show for a yo-yo workshop with John!

Jungle Jim’s Wild About Balloons Magic Show

Wednesday, November 11 | 10:30am

Watch giant balloon creations take shape before your eyes in this interactive show full of silly magic and visual comedy. More than a dozen kids join Jim on stage, and the big finale ends with Jim climbing inside a 6-foot balloon. Stay after the show for a Q&A with Jim!

Magician Tommy James

Fan favorite Tommy James returns with a brand-new comedy magic show! Meet Miracle the magic bunny, watch a volunteer float in midair, and laugh along with a magician who has more than 30 years of experience and was named International Family Performer of the Year.

Davey the Clown

Sunday, February 28 | 10:30am

Juggling, magic, unicycle tricks, and a rubber chicken make for a morning of nonstop silliness. After the show, Davey leads a parade around the theater, playing his accordion while kids join in with noisemakers.

What ages are Center Stage events for?

Center Stage is open to all ages!

Is this a drop-off program?

No. Caregivers must stay with their child(ren) for the full show.

Do you offer accommodations?

Yes! If your family needs specific accommodations or there’s information you’d like to share, contact us at family@jccgb.org.

Will photos be taken?

Photos may be taken at shows and used for promotional purposes, including social media. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let event staff know when you arrive.
