PJ Library® sends high-quality, age-appropriate Jewish books to families each month at no cost - it’s our gift to you! 

Join the 9,500 families in the Greater Boston area receiving Jewish books every month! Available to families with children ages birth to 12 years, PJ Library in Greater Boston is a gift from JCC Greater Boston and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, with additional support from Combined Jewish Philanthropies and individual donors.

Receive curated, award-winning storybooks and activities for kids from birth through age 8. The program sparks meaningful conversation and provides opportunities to explore and celebrate Jewish life together.

About PJ Library

PJ Library is a global initiative that shares the joy of Jewish stories, values, and traditions with families raising Jewish children.

Founded by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, the program is available in over 30 countries, reaching more than 240,000 families worldwide. Here in Greater Boston, they also host engaging events, playgroups, and community celebrations to help families connect with one another.

Bring Jewish Holidays to Life in the Classroom

We’re excited to share our Jewish holiday guides, designed to help bring the spirit of each holiday into your child’s school. Each guide features a concise holiday overview, creative craft projects, and PJ Library book recommendations tailored to three age groups: preschoolers, kindergarten–2nd graders, and 3rd–5th graders. To make celebrating even more meaningful, we’ve also included a collection of festive recipes you can enjoy at home or share with the classroom community.

PJ Library Manager / Family Connector

Alyssa joined the PJ Library and Family Connector team at the JCC in fall 2022. She grew up in the JCC community, attended Jewish summer camp, spent a gap year in Israel, and has strong roots in the Boston Jewish community. Alyssa is thrilled to be on the team and is passionate about bringing high quality and creative programs to families, as well as sharing her love of PJ Library books.
