You've heard about AI in the news, from your family, or from friends. This class is a calm, jargon-free place to find out what it actually is, what it can and can't do (today), where it might go tomorrow, and how to use it yourself — starting from zero. No prior experience is assumed, and no question is too basic. We won't rush you. You move at your own pace, and we make sure each step lands before going on to the next.
Over the session, you will:
You will bring your own laptop or tablet, so everything you create in class stays with you, ready to pick up again at home.
What to bring: a laptop or tablet you can type on comfortably. (Phones work OK, but a larger screen makes practicing much easier). A paid account with one of the main AI tools is highly recommended but not required — we'll help you choose the tool that fits you best.
