Rooted in the classical traditions of Japanese Budo, this class offers a dive into martial arts as a path for both physical empowerment and practical self-defense abilities. Through structured movement, drills, and scenario-based training, students will explore the foundational skills that give rise to instinctive, effective responses. Develop coordination, timing, and awareness, while also learning how to fall safely, move with control, and apply core techniques against grabs, strikes, and other real-life encounters. We’ll also introduce traditional forms, positioning, and body mechanics to build a well-rounded self defense and combat effective bases.
Whether you're new to martial arts or returning with experience, this class offers a space to grow confidence, physical resilience, and the calm needed to respond under pressure.
