Join us for this 2-day workshop on the third section of the Wudang Tai Chi 13 Form. Consisting of 13 groups of movements, it is the oldest Tai Chi form taught at China’s famed center of Taoism, Wudang Mountain. It incorporates the Eight Jins (Energies) and Five Steps that form the basis of all Tai Chi practice. Powerfully flowing yet soft and gentle, it is invigorating and healing. The workshop will briefly review the sections covered in our first two workshops, teach the next two or three movement groups, and practice the sequence of all of the movements learned. Martial arts applications in the form will also be demonstrated. Each day will be recorded and the videos will be fully downloadable. Previous experience with the Wudang 13 Form required. This workshop meets on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21.
Cost: $115; $90 for JCC Members
