Pierce Freelon’s joyful music blends hip-hop, electronic jazz and soul. His modern and dynamic sound is inspired by his journey as a millennial dad and is carefully crafted for today’s modern families. Through honest and playful lyrics, rich melodies and fresh beats, he shares his story and welcomes kids and adults to his world. 

His live show features elements of Afrofuturism, Black history, and archival voices to touch on imagination, arts, and science fiction through a Black lens.

When the class gets lost on the way to the planetarium, Ms. Frizzle saves the day by blasting into outer space for an epic interplanetary field trip! But when rivalries both old and new threaten to tear the students apart, our young heroes must learn to pull together or risk getting forever lost in the solar system.

Hop on the Magic School Bus for a ride in this new musical adaptation based on the original book series published by Scholastic.

Dynamic Rockers

Join us for FOUNDATIONS, a fun, active, participating "Breaking" (breakdance) performance of the "here, then, & now" of Hip Hop. Follow us on a magical journey into Hip Hop's humble beginnings.

Dynamic Rockers is one of the foundational breaking crews in Hip Hop. A legacy passed down from father to son. Established in 1978 "The Original Glyde" passed the torch down to his son "Kid Glyde." Dynamic Rockers mission is "to change people's lives, one head spin at a time."

The Pout Pout Fish

Turn the poutiest of frowns upside down in this new musical featuring whimsical puppets and live performers in a sweeping oceanic adventure. When Mr. Fish sets out on a quest to find Miss Clam's missing pearl, he discovers there is more to him than his permanently plastered pout.

This colorful adaptation of The New York Times bestseller is co-conceived, directed, and designed by the acclaimed puppeteers of AchesonWalsh Studios, whose work was featured in Broadway's The King And I, On the Town, and Radio City's New York Spectacular.

Member cost: $18 per ticket

All adults and children attending are required to purchase a ticket. Doors open 15 minutes before the show. All shows are held in the Riemer-Goldstein Theater at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC, 333 Nahanton St, Newton.

After a sudden storm, Sylvie and her loving family of homespun creatures find themselves in need of a new home.  Luckily, they have an audience full of people who can help them out!  Go Home Tiny Monster is a wildly creative theatrical ode to a community's generosity.   The show, told entirely without words, features The Gottabees’ signature mix of puppetry, live music, physical theater, and joyously absurd silliness.
