Walk and Talk Health is a self-led walking group for seniors offered in collaboration with Newton Wellesley Hospital (NWH), the Needham Council on Aging (COA) and JCC Greater Boston. Improve your cardiovascular health while connecting with members in your community while walking JCC's indoor track. A health specialist from NWH will attend quarterly to present important health topics and answer your questions while walking along with you.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR! Let's kick off the season on Tuesday, September 9 at 10:30am with Beth Keane, Reiki Master, Chairperson for Newton Wellesley Hospital Heart and Wellness Council. Stop by the membership lobby to learn about stress and the impact it has on your health (some stress is good). Discover tools and simple techniques to help mitigate stress for a healthier mind and body. After the discussion, Beth and the NWH Community Wellness Coordinator, Jane Barr will join participants to walk the track and answer your health and wellness questions. This program is brought to you by MGB Newton Wellesley Hospital’s Community Collaborative.
