Summertime is the perfect time to relax and let your creativity soar! Discover the art of sketching and build a strong foundation for any artistic pursuit. This class is ideal for beginners or those looking to refresh their skills. Through guided demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and discussions, we’ll explore key concepts such as line, shape, texture, composition, shadow, and light. You’ll learn to observe the world around you with an artist's eye while mastering essential sketching techniques.

Class is taught by Howie Green, an experienced watercolorist and illustrator with numerous awards for his art which has been featured in over 50 solo and group shows. He has completed over 100 murals and public art works for private and public clients including the Boston Red Sox Foundation.
