Ready to step into the spotlight and bring your Broadway dreams to life? This high-energy, action-packed class is designed for young performers to dive into the exciting world of musical theater. From singing, dancing, and acting to auditioning, stunt work, costuming, and improv, kids will explore it all while bringing iconic Broadway numbers to life. This class is here to ignite every child’s inner performer!
Led by professional actor and Broadway vet Dave Heard, kids will rehearse choreography, master vocal warm-ups, and act out unforgettable scenes from legendary shows. Whether they’re belting out a song, nailing the perfect dance move, or discovering the heart of a character, this class focuses on building confidence, teamwork, and stage presence.
At the end of the session, kids will showcase their skills in a mini performance, putting everything they've learned into action. Whether they're dreaming of Broadway stardom or just love to perform, this camp is the perfect stage for them to shine!
About Dave Heard
Dave Heard, star of stage and screen has performed across the nation and beyond our borders in unforgettable roles like The Little Mermaid’s Sebastian, Hairspray’s Seaweed, and Donkey from Shrek! An Alvin Ailey trained dancer, Dave studied acting and the performing arts in New York and Los Angeles, before returning to New England where he obtained his master’s degree in Integrated Arts Education. He has worked for over two decades with children ages 3 to 13, and brings expert coaching that helps kids unlock their unique talents and develop both their creative abilities and their intelligence in the performing arts.
