Get Ready for the 2026 Maccabi Games!
August 2–7, 2026 | Toronto
For the first time in four decades, the JCC Maccabi Games® & Access are heading to Toronto. Hosted by Prosserman JCC and the Schwartz/Reisman Centre, this year’s Games bring a meaningful homecoming for the world’s leading Jewish youth sports experience.
What Are The Maccabi Games?
The JCC Maccabi Games are an Olympic-style international athletic competition designed for Jewish teens. Since their inception in 1982, these Games have brought together thousands of young athletes from across North America, Israel, and other parts of the world, fostering not only athletic excellence but also Jewish identity and community connections.
Highlights include:
- Opening and closing ceremonies
- JCC Cares community service projects
- Social programming and free time with Israeli Shlichim (young Israeli ambassadors living in the US to share their culture, stories and experiences)
- Evening social events
The JCC Maccabi Games emphasize values such as sportsmanship, community service, and Jewish peoplehood, offering participants a unique opportunity to engage in athletic competition while deepening their connection to their heritage and peers worldwide.
