At this time there is a waitlist for swim lessons. We will update our website when more space becomes available.

My child is not just learning how to swim, but also how to be safe in the water.

Lessons for Everyone and Every Level

From the age of three months, children (and adults) can start lessons at any time — and learn and progress at their own pace!

Students are taught the SwimRight® method, which focuses on correct body positioning and proper alignment from the early stages of lessons. Progress is captured in colorful personal swimming journals that help to encourage lots of positive reinforcement. Learn more about survival-based swim lessons and see lessons in action.

How it Works

Following a free evaluation, students are assigned to a swim level and select from one of the following:

  • Parent-Tot lessons (maximum 8 per class; 25 minutes)
  • Group lessons (4-6 per class; 25 or 30 minutes)
  • Private lessons (children and adults; 15 or 30 minutes)

One of the unique aspects of the LKSA program is the perpetual sign-up method, giving swimmers the flexibility to join the program whenever it’s convenient and to change days, times or instructors when needed.

Every 8 weeks, swimmers participate in safety tests to confirm their proficiency so they can move ahead with a sense of accomplishment and pride. Schedules vary depending on student and instructor availability.

Swim lessons are open to the entire community. At this time our staff adheres to COVID guidelines recommended by our local Board of Health.  Please call the office at 617.558.6442 to learn more about our safety procedures.
