Campers unleash their creativity at Kaleidoscope!

The 2021 Kaleidoscope program consists of four 2-week sessions. Upper campers choose their program, while younger campers enjoy a well-rounded day. Whether it’s performing in small groups, swimming in the outdoor pool or dressing up for special theme days, Kaleidoscope campers have fun, try new things and build self-confidence.

In a culture of kindness and caring, Kaleidoscope campers feel safe to explore their emerging interests and freely express themselves. Our talented staff of artists, performers and educators inspires campers to try new things in a pluralistic Jewish setting that embraces campers of all backgrounds, faiths, and beliefs.

Campers with Special Needs

Camp Kaleidoscope’s inclusive program seeks to enhance the social, emotional, physical and developmental needs of all children. All bunk groups are inclusive.

Campers with mild disabilities participate in all camp activities under the guidance of experienced counselors. Parents may provide one-on-one aides or other support if necessary.

A limited number of spaces are available for children with mild developmental disabilities. Interviews are required.

Counselor in Training (CIT)

Campers in grades 9-11 gain leadership skills by assisting Kaleidoscope’s experienced counselors and specialists. CITs spend half of their time assisting and half in their own group. They participate in special workshops, lead the camp in tzedakah (helping others) projects, and plan and help with events.

CITs go through an application process and pay a reduced tuition rate.
