Youth Tennis Camp
Tennis professionals coach campers through drills, games and match play, emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork and skills enhancement. Includes recreational swim.
Overview of The Program
Under the direction of USPTA Elite Professional Doug Maynard, campers receive professional individualized instruction, including 1:1 time with Doug each day, within a rotational group format based on age and ability.
Over the course of the week, all fundamental aspects of the game are covered in drills, games, and point play for the appropriate skill level.
Campers receive feedback and skill instruction in a comfortable and inclusive atmosphere and staff stress individual improvement over peer comparison.
Instructors emphasize all the character building aspects of tennis and strive to make every student feel important and valued regardless of their level.
The Youth Tennis Camp schedule is flexible. Families can enroll for one to ten weeks, consecutively or as they choose. Bus transportation is provided from 6 communities across Greater Boston with over 19 stops for easy drop-off and pick-up.
Regular camp hours are 9am-4pm with early drop-off available at 8am extended day available until 5:45pm.
All campers participate in free swim under the supervision of trained lifeguards.
