At Sports Camps, your child can focus on the sport of their choice while enjoying a traditional camp experience. Our top-notch staff of certified coaches and instructors help campers of all abilities develop their athletic skills and sportsmanship.
With concentrated, one-week sessions, you have the flexibility to choose to participate for one week or multiple weeks! Summer Sports Camps
Super Soccer Stars Camp
Coed, ages 3-4 • 9am-12pm
Preschoolers enjoy soccer games, exercise and fun in the sun. Coaches guide campers through individual and group activities that teach soccer skills, build self-confidence and promote cooperation. (No diapers, please.)
Kids’ Choice Camp
Coed, ages 5-8 • 9am-4pm
Kids’ Choice is a traditional day camp experience with a twist. Kids create their own schedule so they get to do the things they like, whether it’s sports, arts or play! The camp day also includes recreational swim at the JCC outdoor pool and fun group activities.
Sports Mania Camp
Coed, ages 5-8 • 9am-4pm
Kids who like to play a variety of sports get a well-rounded experience at Sports Mania Camp. Professional coaches teach the basics of sports such as basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis and football — for athletes of all levels. Campers enjoy a traditional day camp experience with recreational swim, swim lessons and fun camp games.
Coed, ages 8-14 • 10am-4pm
Campers improve their tennis game with coaching from USPTA-certified tennis pro Doug Maynard. Doug leads campers through drills, games and match play, emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork and skills enhancement. In case of rain, modified drills and recreational games are played in the JCC gym. The camp day includes recreational swim at the JCC outdoor pool.
Coed, ages 5-7 • 10am-4pm
Young campers are introduced to tennis through the USTA “10 and Under” format, which uses age-appropriate equipment and court size. USPTA-certified tennis pro Doug Maynard and his team of coaches instill enjoyment of the game, while teaching the fundamentals. Campers also enjoy swim lessons, recreational swim and group activities.
All Star Swim Camp
Coed, ages 7-15• 9am-1pm or 9am-4pm
JCC Swim Team Head Coach Adrian Eagles and his staff help swimmers improve their technique and become better swimmers by going back to basics. Using underwater and above-water video review, they deconstruct strokes, starts and turns to see exactly where swimmers can improve. Participants must have completed Level V of the Red Cross swim program or the Gliders level of the Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy.
