Betty Lehrman has been involved in education, camping and the arts for more than 25 years, and has directed Kaleidoscope since 2009. Betty also oversees Showstoppers, our youth theater program for children and teens. The former Executive Director of the Performing Arts Center of MetroWest (PAC) and founder of the PAC Family Players, she taught middle school theater for seven years and has directed arts camps and theatre programs throughout Greater Boston; produced concert series and festivals; and taught storytelling and music to students from kindergarten through graduate school. Prior to directing Kaleidoscope, Betty was known to Jewish audiences as a professional storyteller, specializing in Jewish tales of tradition and wisdom. She received a BS in Theater from Northwestern University and an MA in Theater Education from New York University.
Taaron Pitino has extensive experience in teaching, therapy and management. She previously taught preschool, worked in private practice as a Greenspan Developmental Therapist and held multiple managerial positions in the retail industry. Taaron began her association with camp as a parent; her daughter is now a CIT. Taaron is responsible for registration, transportation, supplies and much more. She has been a part of the Kaleidoscope team for six years.
