Support JCC Greater Boston

The JCC engages more Jews and the people in their lives than almost every other Jewish institution in Boston combined.

When you support the JCC, you help give us the resources to create exceptional programs that serve and sustain a thriving Jewish community…today and for the future.

Ways to Give

Annual Campaign

While 80% of our operating budget comes from revenue from programs such as Leventhal-Sidman JCC membership; ELC and Camp tuition; class and program fees; and grants; we rely on annual contributions from generous donors in our community to help make us whole. A gift can be made any time of year to help support the enriching and important programs offered at JCC Greater Boston. You can direct us to apply your gift where it’s needed most, or you may choose a specific program that matches your philanthropic interests. You can make a one-time donation or a recurring monthly gift.

Capital Improvements for Camp Grossman and Kaleidoscope

While camp tuition covers most of our operating costs, we have exciting plans to improve the physical environment of our camps. Donors like you are the champions of our camps, and your generous gifts have helped to upgrade and enhance our physical spaces.

Camp Grossman

Our greatest need at Camp Grossman is to replace eight aging bunk/unit buildings. We envision pavilions where the first floor has an open program space and is fully accessible for children of all abilities, and a second floor with a multi-purpose space for music, dance, and camp-wide indoor activities. We are also looking to update common spaces at camp, including the amphitheater and playing fields. While we continue to explore larger projects, we have secured a grant (with a 2:1 match) to replace our aging Junior Village rock wall, and we will be looking for donors to help us leverage this generous match.

Camp Kaleidoscope

As we increase the number and quality of programs that we offer, we are looking to continue to enhance our space by outfitting the pavilion classrooms with cabinets, shelves, and science equipment. We plan to upgrade our theater systems to further enhance audience and performer experiences with new lighting, curtains, and climate control.

Tributes

Tribute gifts can be used to remember or to honor a special person. With your donation, we will send a card to the individual or family you wish to notify, acknowledging your gift in their honor or memory.

Legacy Giving

A gift made to the JCC Greater Boston Endowment Fund is to be preserved for the future, generating income in perpetuity and accruing interest to grow principal and/or to fund ongoing operating needs.
