Meet the Team
I live in Sharon with my husband and our two young daughters. I chose to work for the Family Engagement team of JCC Greater Boston because of the impact it has had on me personally. I came to Sharon not knowing anyone. By attending the Bagels and Books Drop-In playgroup when my first daughter was not even two weeks old, I started forming our very first friendships that will last a lifetime. I began attending different JCC South Area events for young families and my husband and I felt so comfortable in the friendly, non-judgmental, and open-minded community. Now, five years later, our entire family has made new friends and truly values the sense of community. Our family loves dance parties, BBQ’s (when it’s nice out!), and exploring new places. I look forward to seeing new faces, making new friends, and continuing to grow the relationships we have with the other South Area families. Contact Steph
I have worked for JCC Greater Boston doing family engagement work in the South Area for much of the past decade. As the current Welcome Baby! Family Connector, I am often a first point of contact for families. I provide home visits to new parents, bringing them gift bags and sharing information about local community resources and ways to meet other young families, often through follow up programs I create specifically for families with babies 0-1. I have loved having my own children grow up active in such a strong and welcoming Jewish community; both of my kids attended the Gilson JCC Early Learning Center and were participants in JCC South Area programs. Currently my son and daughter are in elementary school, and as a family, we love spending time outdoors exploring local trails, biking, and running. Contact Ally
I live in Easton with my husband and our two beautiful children. I love being part of the Jewish community and creating a welcoming environment for all the families I meet. I truly enjoy working with our team to create meaningful children’s programs that represent the Jewish values of tzedakah and mitzvot. I love to teach my own kids about the importance of community and empower them to always think of and help others. I believe even the smallest hands can make a big difference. My family enjoys being active together including running, ice skating, swimming, playing sports, and traveling. Contact Dianna
I joined the JCC South Area team because I was looking for more ways to engage in the Jewish community in and around my town. With two toddler boys it is important for me to expose my children to religion in a fun, relaxed, and educational way. I enjoy planning events, getting out and about as much as possible, and getting to know new people and being a part of the JCC allows me to do all that and more! I enjoy arts and crafts and being able to use my skills from time spent in the theater world to enhance the activities I create for families. My family likes going on adventures and exploring new places. We value experiences together above all else. Contact Amy
