JCC Greater Boston invites families who live south of Boston to join us for educational, fitness and social activities held in your area. JCC programs and events are a natural way to meet other families with a shared commitment to Jewish ideals and community. Everyone is welcome.
 
You’ll find exciting programs for every age – from toddlers in our Sharon and Hingham Early Learning Centers to older adults in our JCC South Senior Programs. We also have adapted aquatics, plus social and recreational programs, for people with special needs.

South Area Family Program Coordinator

Karen has been creating programs and events for families with young children since 2010. She lives in Sharon with her husband and two teenage children. Karen is dedicated to maintaining a strong JCC presence South of Boston with a wide range of engaging programs and classes for parents, families and children. Karen’s favorite program is the weekly drop-in group, PJ Library Bagels and Books, because it’s a great starting point for meeting and connecting families. Friendships are formed, resources are shared and lots of bagels are consumed!

Senior Adult Director

Harvey has a BS in Art Education from Mass College of Art and an MS in Art Education from Penn State University.  A lead teacher and supervisor in the Boston Public Schools for 36 years, a professor at Newbury College, in Brookline for 33 years, ran a graphic illustrator and interior design business for over 40 years, and have directed the JCC South Senior Programs since July 2007.
