Celebrate kindness and nature this Martin Luther King, Jr Day with hiking adventures, nature exploration, a visit from Curious Creatures, active games, planting and craft projects, and much more.

This is a drop-off program for children in grades K to 5. It will be held outdoors for as much of the day as possible and will move indoors in case of inclement weather. All children and staff will be masked indoors. More details about where to go, what to bring and what to expect will be provided following registration. Click here to sign up for extended day which ends at 5pm.

Tu B'Shevat celebrates our connection to and responsibility for nature, while MLK Day recognizes our connection to and responsibility for each other. This year, we mark both days on January 17, a fitting reminder that we should give voice to those living things who cannot always speak up for themselves.

If your child needs specific accommodations or if there is information you would like to share, please let us know so that we can support your family. Contact us at childrensclasses@jccgb.org.

JCC Greater Boston is proud to offer diverse programming serving populations that are still considered to be at risk, or are not yet able to be vaccinated. Anyone 2 years and older should continue to wear a mask indoors throughout their visit. Masks are not required in outdoor spaces. Our code of conduct still requires that you stay home if you are feeling unwell and/or have been exposed to COVID-19 and are not vaccinated. Regardless of your vaccination status if you prefer to wear a mask, you are welcome to do so.
