JCare Babysitting & JKids Club (Saturdays & Sundays)

3 Months - 5 Years (JCare) | 5 - 10 Years (JKids Club) | For Members Only

Drop off your children for fun playtime (JCare) and creative projects and activities in arts and STEM (JKids Club) with our wonderful staff while you use the gym, get some work done in the café, or chat with friends. Parents and caregivers must remain on site.

JCare is located in the Family Wing Clubhouse and JKids Club is located in the Nook.

Season runs from September 11 - December 15

PJ Library®

PJ Library sends high-quality, age-appropriate Jewish books to families each month at no cost - it’s our gift to you! PJ Library and PJ Our Way are available to families with children ages 6 months to 12 years living in the Greater Boston area.  

JCC Summer Camps

No matter which camp you select, you can feel good knowing your child will have the opportunity to thrive in a fun, safe and nurturing environment. JCC camps are ideal for learning new skills, developing self-confidence and making new friends.

Family Programming

Joelle Schatz
Head of Family Programming, Newton

Joelle has been a part of the JCC Greater Boston community since 2012 as a pre-school parent and in the Marketing Department. Now in her role, Joelle enjoys connecting with families and supporting them with enrichment classes, birthday parties, special events, holiday celebrations, Discovery Club After School, early parenting, and so much more.

Family Programming

Shirah Hill-Cohen
Family Program Coordinator, Newton

Shirah is a fluent Hebrew speaker and has taught English as a teaching fellow in Israel. She also served as a counselor and Sports Director at a Jewish summer camp. In her work at the JCC since 2019, Shirah has enjoyed teaching virtual classes in science and engineering, and connecting with hundreds of families for enrichment classes, birthday parties, vacation days and Discovery Club.

Liane Weber
Program Director

Liane has been working at JCC Greater Boston with children and families of all ages since 2014. She has more than 10 years of experience with elementary-aged children in outside-of-school environments. At Discovery Club, she creates activities aimed at engaging students in enrichment, academic support, physical and social-emotional development. She loves designing programs that create a warm and nurturing community of students, parents and teachers.

Liz Levin
Jewish Experiential Educator

Liz has over 25 years of experience in Jewish education and language acquisition. She has served as Director of formal and informal education programs with a focus on Project Based Learning. Liz weaves Jewish values, learning and experiences into programming across JCC Greater Boston.
