Family Engagement & Jewish Life

Liz has over 25 years of experience in Jewish education and language acquisition. She has served as Director of formal and informal education programs with a focus on Project Based Learning. Liz weaves Jewish values, learning and experiences into programming across JCC Greater Boston.
Family Programming

Joelle has been a part of the JCC Greater Boston community since 2012 as a pre-school parent and in the Marketing Department. Now in her role, Joelle enjoys connecting with families and supporting them with enrichment classes, birthday parties, special events, holiday celebrations, Discovery Club After School, early parenting, and so much more.
Family Engagement & Jewish Life

Amy has been working at the JCC Greater Boston since 2017 when she started producing the popular Jonathan Samen Hot Buttons, Cool Conversations discussion series. She has since expanded her role to bring more adult programming to the JCC. Amy comes from the news world, having spent more than 15 years working at Bloomberg Television and CNN.
Family Programming

Shirah is a fluent Hebrew speaker and has taught English as a teaching fellow in Israel. She also served as a counselor and Sports Director at a Jewish summer camp. In her work at the JCC since 2019, Shirah has enjoyed teaching virtual classes in science and engineering, and connecting with hundreds of families for enrichment classes, birthday parties, vacation days and Discovery Club.
Discovery Club After School

Liane has been working at JCC Greater Boston with children and families of all ages since 2014. She has more than 10 years of experience with elementary-aged children in outside-of-school environments. At Discovery Club, she creates activities aimed at engaging students in enrichment, academic support, physical and social-emotional development. She loves designing programs that create a warm and nurturing community of students, parents and teachers.
