Mindfulness is the ability to be present in the moment without being overwhelmed by the good or bad around us - it is about simply being with whatever is unfolding. Led by a Meditation Instructor, this class will engage in both formal and informal practices of mindfulness that will allow you to cultivate a "witness" aspect in your day-to-day life. Achieve a deeper state of embodiment in order to experience the simple joy of being, dissociated from the pleasures and displeasures of the external world. Practices include body scan, gentle yoga, sitting meditation, gratitude and forgiveness.
