Take an enchanted winter walk in the woods, and learn about how animals survive winter through migration, hibernation and adaptation. We will use compasses to learn how birds migrate, go on a winter scavenger hunt, explore how some animals change their appearance in the colder months and enjoy a specially themed snack.

Cost: $10/family, pre-registration is required.

In case of inclement weather, please check JCC Metro North Family Connection on Facebook or contact

JCC Greater Boston is proud to offer diverse programming serving populations that are still considered to be at risk, or are not yet able to be vaccinated. Anyone 2 years and older should continue to wear a mask indoors. Masks are not required in outdoor spaces. Our code of conduct still requires that you stay home if you are feeling unwell and/or have been exposed to COVID-19 and are not vaccinated. Regardless of your vaccination status if you prefer to wear a mask, you are welcome to do so.
