Recurring Class
8-12 yrs

In this interactive and socially relevant class, students will learn about different key activist movements of the last 100 years (a new movement each week!)

We will start by defining activism ourselves, and continue on with conversations about civil rights and racial equality, environmental activism and sustainability, feminism, the gay rights movement, animal welfare and more.

These are complicated topics and might be new for many of the students. The instructor, Ellie Cody, will be focusing on making sure lessons are approachable and geared toward the age group. Ellie is so optimistic and excited about the amazing things these students will go on to do in their lives, and is teaching this class because she believes that learning about history and what others have stood for can help us all to build a more beautiful and sustainable future together.

A private Zoom link and additional information will be sent in advance of class. Contact us at
