April Virtual Vacation: A Week of Caring

 

Welcome to Virtual Vacation Week! Monday, April 19 - Friday, April 23

 

Great for families with children ages 3-8 yrs

 

Daily workshops at 10am and Lunch Bunch at 11:30am.

 

Welcome to a week of caring - for animals, for the environment, for yourself and your family! Registration grants access to the full week of live, interactive programs.

 

Monday-Friday | 11:30am-12:15pm: Care for your body by making healthy and delicious daily lunches with the professional chefs of Sticky Fingers Cooking.

 

Monday | 10am | STEM Activity: Get outside, harness the power of the sun by making a solar oven, and learn about recycling materials to make something useful and new.

 

Tuesday| 10am | Focus Kids Martial Arts: Get moving and learn about appreciating and respecting your family.

 

Wednesday | 10am | Recycled Art: Join local artist Julie Middleton for a project using recycled materials and your creativity.

 

Thursday | 10am | Caring for Animals: Virtually visit a local animal shelter, meet the dogs, learn about the importance of caring for them, and find out how you can help!

 

Friday | 10am | Find Your Passion: A Book Launch & Dance Celebration: Try something new, find your passion and do what you love! Meet the author of the brand new book "Tina Searches for Her Dream," Nancy Ganz, and enjoy an interactive story time and live Q&A. Then, try some new dance moves and styles from around the world including Latin, African and Israeli. This active and engaging morning is all about finding joy and celebrating the uniqueness of every child!
