Fight back against Parkinson's disease in this non-contact boxing-style fitness class that will leave you feeling your best inside and out! Led by a Certified Rock Steady Boxing Coach, Rock Steady Boxing incorporates a "tough love" approach with boxing drills, calisthenics, resistance/strength training & more to increase strength, balance, reaction time, brain health and function, and improve your overall level of fitness. The pace of this class is designed for a more deliberate and focused work rate. We slow things down to accommodate boxers with balance challenges, limited mobility and/or a need to be seated. A desire to move better and a pair of boxing gloves are required! Registration subject to assessment; $25 assessment fee is included. Meets both in-person and online; a private Zoom link will be provided prior to the session. To register, call 617.558.6459. Cost: $180 (No class April 23.)
