Empower your mind, body, & spirit in this unique boxing and conditioning workout especially designed for Cancer survivors. This class, led by Cancer survivor and Certified Boxing Coach, Todd "Buster" Paris, will cultivate physical and mental strength, improve mood and energy, and reduce symptoms related to treatment-related side effects (i.e. Neuropathy). Connect with fellow Cancer "Warriors" with challenging boxing drills, calisthenics, resistance training, and flexibility exercises. Studies have shown that exercise may help to reduce the risk of cancer recurrence, prevent new cancers, and help people engage in regular activities of daily life. Held in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, fight back with a "tough-love" approach, reclaim your identity, and live life to the fullest in this boxing-style fitness class. No boxing experience required. Participants must have good balance and the ability to stand for the majority of class.
