For Ages

There are no set instructions for getting older—no roadmap for the transitions into retirement, our social circles, support systems, or activities. This interactive group is designed to help participants enrich this next stage of life with renewed identity, deeper meaning, richer relationships, and spiritual exploration. Facilitated by Dinah Gilburd, LICSW, this program offers a supportive community for adults 55 and older to reflect together on the question: How do we want to spend the rest of our precious lives? Drawing inspiration from the book Wise Aging by Rabbi Rachel Cowan and Dr. Linda Thal, the group will explore insights from multi-faith traditions, poets, and contemporary thinkers. Participants will share their hopes, fears, challenges, and hard-earned wisdom in a safe and engaging space. Together, we’ll cultivate greater clarity, purpose, and connection in the aging process. Please note: Participants are responsible for purchasing a copy of the book "Wise Aging" by Rachel Cowan and Linda Thal available on here. Geared towards adults. Questions Adultprog@jccgb.org.

Group meets: October 9–30.
