PJ Library Bagels and Books Drop-in Group

Geared for children ages 0-4 years with adult

Temple Sinai, Starts September 3 -ongoing through April 2015 (except school vacation weeks and holidays) Wednesdays (9:30-11am)

Geared for children ages 0-4 years with adult
Treat yourself and your child to a fun, weekly activity in a welcoming and relaxed environment. Grab a bagel, hear a story and meet other parents while your children socialize and have fun.  All JCC arts and humanities offerings are programs of the Ryna Greenbaum JCC Center for the Arts.

JCC New Mom’s Meetup

Congregation Sha’aray Shalom , Wednesdays, September 3, 2014 - May 27, 2015 (9:30-10:30am)

For adults with infants (babies welcome)
Do you have a new baby? Would you like to meet other moms and get some support to manage the changes in your life? Come with your infant to share experiences and hear about area resources. In collaboration with Jewish Family and Children’s Service.

Meet-up will take place on Wednesdays (9:30-10:30am) starting September 3, except for school vacation weeks and holidays

Your child has a chance to be “in the band” with Rock-A-Baby. With a trio of musicians, three zany puppets, dancing, instruments and music ranging from classical to jazz to children’s songs to rock ‘n roll, Rock-A-Baby gives your child a stimulating and educational musical experience.  All JCC arts and humanities offerings are programs of the Ryna Greenbaum JCC Center for the Arts.

For Moms with babies 3-6 months
Continue to share the journey of motherhood with your growing, giggly, wiggly baby! Now that your baby is more alert and interactive, come experience new ways to engage and interact with them through songs, parachute play and other developmentally appropriate activities and toys.

There will be no class held on November 11 for Veterans Day.

For Moms with babies 0-3 months
Come together with other new moms and their babies to share support, ideas and resources. The class covers topics such as soothing your baby, infant sleep patterns, tummy time, new roles and relationships, and includes interactive activities such as infant massage, finger plays and songs.

For second time moms with babies 0-6 months
Enjoy precious one-on-one time with your new baby while sharing the challenges and joys of having two children. Learn fun ways to have your children engage with each other and help foster their growing sibling relationship with enjoying the company of other moms adjusting to this new role.

There will be no class on November 27 for Thanksgiving Day.

Tumble, Twist and Flip Over Chanukah

Tumble-N-Twist Gymnastics Center (at the site of the former Academy of Gymnastics), Sunday, December 21, 2014 (10-11:30am)

For families with children under the age of 6 years
Your kids will “light up” like Chanukah candles at this interactive Chanukah gymnastics party. We’ll enjoy games and activities for our littlest tumblers, dance and sing to some holiday music, flip some latkes, create a holiday masterpiece, and taste yummy Chanukah snacks.

Our World Global Discovery Museum, Sunday, December 21, 2014 (3-5pm)

Celebrate the joy of Chanukah with other local families at this awesome museum. We’ll sing songs, dance, light the menorah, do holiday crafts, and taste delicious Chanukah snacks.
