Rock-A-Baby Music Class - Ages 0-3 years, with adult - Fall 15

Sharon Community Center, Start Date: 09/11/2015, End Date: 11/13/2015, Time: 9:30 AM-10:15 AM

Your child has a chance to be “in the band” with Rock-A-Baby. With a trio of musicians, three zany puppets, dancing, instruments and music ranging from classical to jazz to children’s songs to rock ‘n roll, Rock-A-Baby gives your child a stimulating and educational musical experience. Classes held at Sharon Community Center, 219 Massapoag Avenue, Sharon. Please note: fee is for one child plus an adult. Additional siblings are $132/session. Meets at the BAMSI Early Intervention Program Site 801 Pleasant Street, Brockton (Ages: 4 -7 yrs) A program designed to help children learn skills related to playing games and interacting with others. Geared to the needs of children with attention issues or mild developmental concerns who may benefit from a smaller class size. Instructors: Jason Mitchell

Adult Activity Group - Inclusion and Support Services (Adults) - Spring

BAMSI Day Habilitation, Start Date: 09/21/2015, End Date: 12/21/2015, Time: 6:30 PM-8:30 PM

BAMSI Day Habilitation 521 Washington Street, Stoughton A monthly social group for adults with mild learning differences, offering opportunities for a variety of leisure-time activities such as craft projects, games, cooking, as well as trips to local shopping centers and restaurants. JCC Saddle up for Sukkot with PJ Library

Temple Sinai, Start Date: 09/27/2015, End Date: 09/27/2015, Time: 3:00 PM-4:30 PM

Choose quantity of 1 to register your family For families with children under the age of 6 Celebrate Sukkot with a fun Harvest-themed party and kid-friendly pony rides. Make your own incredible edible sukkah (booth) to remind us of the temporary shelters built by Jews who were wandering in the desert after leaving Egypt. Includes holiday crafts and stories. PJ Library® Bagels and Books Drop-in Group

Temple Sinai, Wednesdays, September 30-April 2016, except for school vacations and holidays (9:30-11am)

Geared for ages 0-4 yrs, with adult
Treat yourself and your child to a fun, weekly activity in a welcoming and relaxed environment. Enjoy a bagel, listen to a story and meet other parents while your children socialize and have fun.

Wednesday Night Out - Inclusion and Support Services - Ages 18-30 - Spring

BAMSI Day Habilitation 521 Washington Street, Stoughton (unless otherwise noted in monthly flyer) A monthly social group for young adults with mild learning differences, offering opportunities for a variety of leisure-time activities while working on skills of everyday living. Participants pay for outside activities. Meets one Wednesday evening per month. Leaders: Maryellen McNally, Erin Donahue

PJ Library Road Trips - Fairmont Fruit Farm

Fairmont Fruit Farm, Sunday, October 4 (10am-12noon)

Geared for families with children under age 6
U-Pick at the Apple Orchard. Spend the morning on the farm, pick apples, visit the farm animals, and take a fun hayride through the orchards. The closest apple picking location in the South area.

Taste and See Simchat Torah Shabbat

Temple Chayai Shalom, Friday, October 9 (4-5:30pm)

For families with children under the age of 6
Simchat Torah marks the conclusion of the annual cycle of reading the Torah, and the beginning of a new cycle. Get together with friends, old and new, to celebrate by dancing with the Torahs. Includes songs, crafts, lighting the Shabbat candles and challah. Open to all.
