PJ Books and Blocks Drop-in Playgroup

In two locations!

In multiple locations, Thursdays (9:30-11:30am), and Fridays (9:30-11:30am)

Geared for ages 0-4 yrs, with adult
A great opportunity for young children up to age four to play in a safe and fun environment while adults can meet and connect. A light snack will be provided for the kids. Bring your own lunch and enjoy play time.

Lucky Day Music Class with Stacey Peasley

Popular children’s entertainer Stacey Peasley combines her love of young children with her musical talents into a class that engages kids and creates fun sing-a-longs. Using instruments and props, kids will move to music ranging from pop and rock to children’s favorites and Stacey originals.

Cooking in Irma’s Kitchen

For ages: 3-5 yrs, with adult
Enjoy learning and sharing recipes in the kitchen with your “own” Jewish grandma! Whether your child is an adventurous or picky eater, they’ll have fun cooking and eating with Grandma Irma from the Falmouth, Cape Cod cooking show, “In Irma’s Kitchen.” Each adult and child pair will cook and prep together, using a variety of ingredients. Children will learn skills of measuring and cutting, using kid safe tools.

Mama Ballroom

For prenatal and moms with babies up to 18 mos
Come rhumba with your baby at Mama Ballroom. Learn fun basics of ballroom dancing like the waltz, merengue, foxtrot and more while wearing your baby. This class is for beginners. No prior dance experience necessary. Mama Ballroom provides a great workout, bonding time with your baby and a chance to meet other moms. Includes mama circle time, plus safe baby wearing tips.

PJ Library and JFN Celebrate the New Year

For families with young children ages 2-6
The Jewish High Holidays are a time to reflect on who we are as individuals, and as a family. It is also a time to look forward and try to be a better person in the New Year. Children can start the year practicing Tz'ar Ba'alei Chayim, (kindness to animals) by petting, grooming and feeding a wide assortment of barnyard animals, helping them look and feel their best for the new year. Relax in the barn’s party room with PJ Library books, food and a festive holiday-related craft. Includes kids’ pony rides and petting zoo. Event takes place rain or shine.

Metrowest Adult Activity Group - Ages 25+ yrs

(Ages: 25+ yrs) A group for adults offering a variety of activities designed to enhance social skills and independence within the community. Participants pay for outside activities. Leaders: Cindy Campbell, Vanessa Whited.

PJ Library Shabbat Dinner & Drum

Whitney Place Community Room, Start Date: 10/28/2016, End Date: 10/28/2016, Time: 5:30 PM-7:00 PM

For families with young children ages 0-6
Celebrate Shabbat with family and friends as we drum to a variety of Shabbat rhythms. Unwind after the work week and relax while we read Shabbat themed stories, sing songs, learn some Jewish drum beats, and enjoy a pizza and pasta Shabbat dinner together. Cost: $20/family

Ask the Experts! A Welcome Baby Brunch

For families with babies up to age 1
Your baby’s first year can be a fun and rewarding time for growing families. Learn more about your little one from a guest speaker and expert on the “hot” topics for newborns. Find support and camaraderie by meeting other local families with babies. There will be plenty of time for bagels and socializing. Cost: $15/family
