Welcome Baby! Meet-ups, Metro North

Panera Bread, First Wednesday of each month (year round) 11am-12:30pm

Designed for parents with babies ages 0-1 year
Meet other parents with babies, and enjoy a cup of coffee in a relaxed setting the first Wednesday of each month. New Arrivals: For Moms and Babies Ages 0-3 Months

Together in Motion ANNEX, Mondays, March 10-April 21, 2014 1:30-3pm

Geared for moms and babies ages 0-3 months
Share the journey of motherhood with other new moms in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment. Led by Liz Katzman, a former Isis Parenting instructor, the class covers topics such as soothing your baby, infant sleep patterns, tunny time, new roles and relationships, and includes interactive activities such as infant massage, finger plays and songs. Spend quality time with your baby and build a community of support and friendship to sustain you along your way. Class will not be held of April 14. New Arrivals: For moms and babies ages 0-3 months

Together in Motion ANNEX, Mondays, April 28, 2014 - June 9, 2014 (11:30am-1pm)

Designed for new parents and their infants, ages 0-3 months.
This class meets every from Monday from April 28-June 9, except May 26.
Come share the journey of motherhood with other new moms in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment.  Led by Liz Katzman, a former Isis Parenting Instructor, the class covers topics such as soothing your baby, infant sleep patterns, tummy time, new roles and relationships, and includes interactive activities such as infant massage, finger plays and songs. Getting To Know You: For Moms and babies ages 3-6 months

Together In Motion Annex , Mondays, April 28 - June 9 (1:30-3pm)

Designed for parents and babies ages 3-6 months
Meets Mondays, April 28-June 9 (excluding May 26) | 1:30-3pm
Continue to share the journey of motherhood with your growing, giggly, wiggly baby! Now that your baby is more alert and interactive come experience new ways to engage and interact with them through songs, parachute play and other developmentally appropriate activities and toys. Led by a former Isis Parenting instructor, this class will also cover topics such as getting out and about with baby, feeding the family, safety and baby proofing, sleep, health and wellness. You will have the opportunity to learn more about your baby and how they are growing and developing while still receiving the support and friendship with other moms. Moms who have not participated in New Arrivals are welcome and encouraged to attend

Welcome Baby! Brunch

A special morning just for you and your baby. Meet other families with little ones while enjoying a relaxing bagel brunch. Gain valuable insight from an expert developmental specialist. First time parents and “veteran” parents welcome.

Toddler Time!

Together in Motion ANNEX, Thursdays, May 8, 2014 - May 29, 2014 (9:30-10:30am)

For parents and babies ages 12-26 months
Parents/caregivers and their children will engage in play, song, and stories, both Jewish and secular.  Led by developmental specialist, Rachel Oliveri, the class will offer opportunities for connection and support while exploring topics such as routines and rituals, play and safe explorations, and managing meltdowns. All are welcome. Space is limited.

Letterboxing for Lag B'Omer

Lag B’Omer is a time to remember our scholars and heroes. Come celebrate this most mystical of Jewish festivals by connecting to nature and following a set of clues to a hidden letterbox in a hemlock forest. Easy to moderate terrain. Snack provided.

Shabbat Family Potluck Dinner

Arlington Senior Center, Friday, June 6, 2014 (6-7:30pm)

Designed for families with children ages 0 years and older with adult.
Welcome in Shabbat together with family and friends at a community potluck dinner. Please bring a dairy (or non-dairy vegetarian) dish clearly labeled with ingredients. Kosher wine, grape juice and challah will be provided.
