JCC Preschool Open House in Newton

at the Bernice B. Godine JCC Early Learning Center located at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC

Leventhal-Sidman JCC, Thursday, October 8, 2015 5-6pm

Geared for families with infants, toddlers and preschool age children
Parents can meet the educators and the school’s director, tour the classrooms and register for the Fall 2016 school year. Operated by the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston, the school welcomes children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Flexible hours and days with full week or part week options, full year and school year programs, early drop-off and extended day, swim lessons for four and five year olds and optional in-house afternoon enrichment classes. Adult Adapted Aquatics - 22+ yrs

(Ages: 22+ yrs) Weekly swimming class adapted to the needs of adults with physical challenges. Taught by a certified Aquatics instructor, the class offers exercise and socialization to swimmers and non-swimmers in an accessible and supportive environment. Instructor: Lucinda Parker

Tai Chi (Wudang Style) - Adults

L'Chaim(To Life) Fun, Fitness and Community-31+yrs

(Ages: 31+ yrs) Socialize, dine out, work out in the gym, see a show! A group for adults with mild learning differences. Group members decide their own leisure-time activities with the assistance of an advisor. Particpants pay for outside activities. Instructor: Trudy Bauer

Personal Strength & Flexibility (Adv) - Adults

A 60-minute class led by a personal trainer focusing on strength training and flexibility. Learn proper form for various exercises and why each exercise is important to your overall conditioning.
