PJ Library Goes to the Beach

Powisset Pond at JCC Grossman Camp, Sunday, July 21, 2013 10am-1pm and Sunday, August 4, 2013 10am-1pm

Designed for families with young children
Join your friends from PJ Library for a family beach party at JCC Grossman Camp's waterfront. Splash in the lake, build sandcastles and enjoy a summer sing-along. Bring a dairy picnic lunch. Snack provided. Event will be happening on two dates - come for one or both - Sunday, July 21 from 10am-1pm and Sunday, August 4 from 10am-1pm. Everyone welcome. Playground Meet-up, Metrowest

EMC Park, Friday, July 26, 2013 10am

Designed for children ages 0-5 years, with adult
Make friends for you and your kids. Meet at the best playgrounds around Metrowest for socializing, activities and a snack. Look for the blue flag at the park to find Jewish Family Network at the playground. In case of inclement weather, we will meet at the JFS Children's Room, 475 Franklin Street, Framingham. Directions: From Route 9, take Route 85 South, past Hopkinton State Park, through the light at Route 135. Travel approximately two miles until you see a school on your right. The park entrance will be on the left.

Shabbat in the Park, Metrowest

Framingham Village Green, Friday, August 2, 2013 5:30-7pm

Designed for families with children ages 0-5 years
Celebrate Shabbat (welcoming of the Sabbath) with a summer outdoor picnic in a relaxed setting with family and friends. Please bring a picnic dinner. We will provide challah and grape juice. Stay for the Framingham Concert on the Green. In case of inclement weather, contact508-879-3300 ext. 10 after 4pm the day of the event. Directions: Playground is near the junction of Route 27 and Route 30. Traveling north on Route 27 (if coming from Route 9), the park is on your right, immediately after you have passed through the intersection and behind TD Bank.

Bernice B. Godine JCC Early Learning Center, Newton Preschool Open House

Leventhal-Sidman JCC, Wednesday, August 14, 2013 9-10am

Designed for families with children ages 6 weeks-5 years
The Bernice B. Godine JCC Early Learning Center preschool at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC in Newton will hold an open house for parents of infants, toddlers and preschool age children on Wednesday, August 14. Parents can meet the educators and the school’s director, tour the classrooms and register for summer 2013 or the fall 2013-2014 school year. The school accepts children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age.  Options include flexible hours and days with full week or part week options, full year and school year programs, early drop-off and extended day, swimming lessons and optional in-house enrichment classes.
