JCC Community Day

Lend a hand...or two

Leventhal-Sidman JCC, Thursday, December 25, 2014 10am-1pm

Everyone welcome
December 25 will be a day to lend a hand to the community at the JCC. The JCC will be open to the public from 10am-1pm. Participate in family-friendly community service-themed activities that spread joy to those in need. Activities include making blankets for pets at the MSPCA, making tissue paper flower centerpieces to brighten up senior winter lunch programs, sorting donations collected by the JCC Early Learning Centers for Cradles to Crayons, and decorating birthday bags and warm wish notes for the recipients of the Cradles to Crayons donations. You'll also have the opportunity to play chess for charity - beat the JCC's chess king and we'll make a donation to the charity of your choice. The JCC facilities including the gym, indoor pool and children's gym will also be open. Please feel free to bring donations for Cradles to Crayons. Can't attend the JCC on December 25, but still want to lend a hand, here are some other volunteer opportunities. For more information, contact bostonjcc.org/communityday or 617-558-6529.
