The Leventhal-Sidman JCC provides a home to a breadth of activities for every age group – from arts, aquatics and fitness, to summer camps, theatre, enrichment classes, and more. Family memberships are available and open to the entire community. The Bernice B. Godine Early Learning Center and JCC Early Parenting programs are also held in Newton. We serve thousands of other families throughout the year with fantastic programs, events, and amenities.

Meet Our Team

Jamie Darsa, PJ Library Coordinator

Jamie has a wealth of experience in Jewish education and creating programs and events for families with young children. She and her two young children are huge PJ fans. The books and programs have continued to touch and impact her family through the years. That is why she is so passionate about sharing these stories and experiences with families throughout Greater Boston. Jamie lives in Watertown with her family.

Joanie Olin, 
Coordinator of Early Parenting Programs

Joanie has more than 15 years of experience working for two of the region’s largest new parent support organizations, Warmlines Parent Resources and Isis Parenting. She has helped hundreds of new parents navigate the exciting, but challenging early months of parenthood. Joanie currently oversees all of the JCC’s Early Parenting programs. She lives in Needham and has three grown children.

Suzanne Robins, Regional Family Outreach Manager

Suzanne oversees programming for families with young children in the Metro North, Metrowest and South areas, as well as the JCC Interfaith Connections program. She enjoys planning creative Interfaith Swizzle & Sizzle Shabbat dinners, as well as Jewish holiday and culinary programs at unique venues where participants can enjoy a special meal together, learn something new and meet other Interfaith couples. Suzanne has two young adult daughters and lives in Newton with her husband.

Susan Tovsky, Magic Ark and Children's Program Coordinator

Susan has a vast experience creating unique shows, events, and classes for families with young children. Her favorite event from last year was the Magic Ark show Ivy and Bean. It was truly amazing! Susan lives in Sharon with her family.
