Leadership

Tara Tetzlaff, Director

Tara Tetzlaff’s interest in teaching grew from years of helping her mother in a special education classroom, and learning to teach students with different educational needs. She has a Master’s degree in Critical and Creative Thinking and wrote her graduate thesis on CTWorkshop classroom teaching and learning. Tara joined CTWorkshop in 2008 and, in addition to directing icamp, teaches afterschool programs and manages parties. She is also trained in CPR and First Aid.

Allyson Palmer, Program Director

Allyson Palmer has an educational background in multimedia and has been coaching gymnastics since 1991, but she found the perfect match of technology and education at CTWorkshop, which she joined in 2007. In this work she has directly helped hundreds of kids channel their creativity into successful projects, and indirectly contributed to all of our successful programs by making sure everything runs smoothly.

Leonid Tunik, Regional Director

Leonid Tunik joined CTWorkshop in 2006 after a career in educational publishing, and manages the organization’s local programs and staff.  His goal is to show children why science and technology are important, knowing that he is helping to prepare tomorrow's inventors, explorers, and researchers for whom future, unknown creativity tools will be as natural as pencil and paper are today.
