Programs
The Kaleidoscope program is built around three goals: arts and science exploration; building community and a spirit of collaboration; and being active all summer long. Activities are carefully tailored to campers’ interests, ages and abilities.
Campers explore the visual arts under the guidance of master artists in professionally equipped studios. Professional directors, choreographers and musicians guide campers and CITs in dance and drama performances. Offstage, everyone has opportunities to learn from visiting performers—and each four-week session culminates in a special evening that highlights campers’ talents and accomplishment.
The JCC gyms, fields and pools, together with the nearby Charles River, provide ample sports and recreation opportunities under the supervision of sports and recreation specialists.
Kaleidoscope campers receive Red Cross-approved instructional swim and participate in free swim under the supervision of trained instructors and lifeguards.
