Zohar
The JCC Maccabi Camp Kingswood Zohar (brightness: splendor) camping program is designed to meet the needs of Jewish adolescents who are developmentally challenged. In the spirit of full inclusion, campers are integrated into all recreational, social and community-building activities of camp life, with the support and supervision of specially trained staff. The Zohar camper-to-bunk staff ratio is 2:1.
Zohar is open to boys and girls ages 10 to 18 with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, neurological and/or learning challenges. First-time campers may register for a single one-week session with the option of extending; returning campers may register for up to six one-week sessions.
