The PJ Library

A Jewish Journey through Books and Reading

The PJ Library®, a national project created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, provides free, high-quality Jewish children's books and music to families across the continent through a monthly subscription. Selections feature a wide array of themes such as Jewish holidays, folktales and Jewish family life. Families also receive parenting resources to enhance the reading experience.

Today, more than 70,000 families in more than 135 communities in the United States and Canada are able to explore the timeless core values of Judaism through the art and literature of these free children's books!

Due to an overwhelming response, The PJ Library program in Greater Boston has reached the maximum number of children for whom funding is currently available. Visit pjlibrary.org to complete the online registration form to be added to the waitlist. As opportunities become available, children from the waitlist will be enrolled in the program.

While on the waitlist, parents will receive a monthly email newsletter with information on family events happening throughout the Greater Boston area. These events are open to the entire community and are a great way to connect with other familes.

The PJ Library program in Greater Boston is administered locally by the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston, with additional generous funding from local donors. Subscriptions are available to children in 97 Greater Boston communities, ages birth through five years.
