Welcome Baby! Meetups

Panera Bread, The first Wednesday of every month.

Parents with babies newborn -1 year
Meet other parents with babies over coffee in a relaxed setting the first Wednesday of each month. Staff from the JCC and JF&CS will welcome you and tell you about resources and upcoming programs.

Step to Gymnastics II - Ages 4-5 yrs - Winter

LSJCC, Start Date: 01/26/2015, End Date: 03/23/2015, Time: 1:15 PM-2:00 PM

(Ages: 4-5 yrs) Development of strength, sequencing and responding to visual cues are emphasized at this level. Children learn beginning handstands, rolls, leaps, body positions, and names of skills. Peter Sylvester

Directions to each location

Hodgkins-Curtin Park - Somerville (Davis Square)
This playground is located on Holland Street at Simpson Avenue and Paulina Street. There is two hour parking on Holland Street near the playground and a municipal parking lot on Holland Street at Buena Vista Road that takes credit card. The Park is a 5 minute walk from the Davis T Stop on the red line. Look for the staff member with a blue shirt and/or yellow flag by the toddler slide near the baby swings.
 
Rev. William Playground - Cambridge
This playground is located between Massachusetts Ave. and Rindge Ave.,on the cross streets of Dudley and Cedar in the North Cambridge area. There are parking meters on Mass. Ave. The nearest public transit is the #77 bus along Mass. Ave. to Dudley Street. Look for the staff member with a blue shirt and/or yellow flag by the water park.
 
Whittemore Robbins Playground - Arlington
This playground is located behind the Robbins Library and the Whittemore Robbins House. There is a small parking lot beyond the library’s lot, with additional parking spots available on Mass. Ave. The #77 bus runs along Mass. Ave. Look for the staff member with a blue shirt and/or yellow flag by the play structure.

South Area Playground Meet-ups

Havdalah on the Beach

Nantasket Beach, Saturday, July 18, 2015 (4:30-7pm)

Relax at one of the area’s most beautiful beaches for a family picnic dinner, beach fun and Havdalah, the ceremony marking the end of Shabbat. Pack a picnic dinner for your family and we’ll provide drinks and dessert. Meet near the blue playground.

Super Soccer Stars - Age 2 yrs - Summer

(Ages: 2 yrs) Dynamic international coaches work with children to improve their skills and develop self-confidence and teamwork in a fun, non-competitive environment. Engaging warm-ups, activities and games, along with positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio ensures that each child will improve his or her soccer skills. Each child receives a free t-shirt. Classes will be held indoors during the weekdays and on the weekends they will be held outdoors (weather permitting). Super Soccer staff
