EDUCATING. Early Learning Centers (preschools) nurture the minds, bodies and spirits of children from infancy through Transitional Kindergarten, embracing families, mentoring teachers, and creating a  lifelong foundation for building strong Jewish identities in locations throughout Greater Boston.

EXPLORING. Day, overnight and specialty camps provide a fun, safe and nurturing environment for learning new skills, developing self-confidence, and making new friends. For some children, camp is the one opportunity they have during the year to be part of a Jewish community.

ENGAGING. A full range of options that support the Jewish values of good health and intellectual curiosity create low-barrier options that unite community members in exploring their own values and our mutual heritage. Programs in the cultural and performing arts, fitness, wellness and prevention invite individuals and families to grow and add meaning in their lives.

EMPOWERING. Services for individuals with special needs promote the all-important JCC value of inclusion, facilitating a sense of empowerment and independence in children, teens and adults with physical, developmental, neurological, and learning and mental health challenges.

EXPANDING. Community outreach initiatives bring a sense of connectedness to every corner of Greater Boston. Family holiday celebrations, meet-ups and playgroups, Welcome Baby! visits with young families, The PJ Library,® and enrichment programs for senior adults provide opportunities that transcend geographic boundaries and create a cohesive whole in our community.

Support the JCC

To tens of thousands of Jews in Greater Boston, the JCC is a welcoming place for encountering Jewish ideas, principles, practices and values. JCC program participants represent the widest variety of backgrounds and beliefs imaginable, and are welcomed on their own terms. From the skills and relationships that develop, this and future Jewish generations thrive—and community grows!

JCC programs and services are 100 percent impactful. Yet, membership and program fees only account for 82 percent of the funds needed to offer our comprehensive programming. The remainder comes from individual gifts and corporate and foundation support.

Contributions to the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston make it possible to serve the entire community through innovative programming, and to provide access to JCC services through financial assistance and other support that keeps the Jewish community vital and strong. For example:
•       $5,000 funds a scholarship for a family with a child with a disability to attend the Zohar Program Family Camp at JCC Maccabi Camp Kingswood in late August
•       $3,600 funds a scholarship for a child from a financially challenged family to attend JCC Maccabi Camp Kingswood for a summer
•       $2,800 supports a scholarship for a working, low-income family needing full-day tuition at a JCC Early Learning Center
•       $1,000 supports the salary of a Ledgewood Developmental Specialist in a JCC Early Learning Center classroom
•       $750 enables a family to receive substantial financial assistance in order to send a child to JCC Kaleidoscope Creative Arts & Science Camp in July
General operating support, which affords the JCC discretion to apply funds to our most urgent need, is especially welcome; however, all inquiries are welcome.
